What is the investment minimum?

What are your fees?

We charge a 10% performance fee on realized profits only meaning you’re never charged if your investment doesn’t generate returns. Unlike traditional management fees that take a cut regardless of performance, our structure ensures we only succeed when you do. It’s a partnership model and we’re in it together.

These strategies are powered by sophisticated, rules-based algorithms developed from over 30 years of historical market data. We use capital efficiently and apply leverage thoughtfully to target 30%+ annual realized returns, even in volatile or neutral markets.

We deal with leverage, derivatives, and foreign exchange in our fund. There is always the potential risk that you will lose capital. Even with a strong track record, we have increased risks in all of our investments.

You can always find the current status of your investment (updated monthly) in the Investor Portal, or via our quarterly reports.

So I'm buying a stock?

In a way. You’re becoming a co-owner in a private trading company, similar to owning shares in a public company like Apple ($AAPL). The difference is that our company’s entire focus is generating and distributing returns to investors, rather than building products or services. Your ownership represents a direct stake in our trading performance.

What are the tax implications?

Hyalite Capital acts as a "passthrough" investment vehicle. We provide Schedule K-1 tax forms at year end, which is reported similar to self-employment income.

Can my profit distributions be automatically reinvested?

Accepted Answer

By default we use a mix of distributions and reinvestment of profits to limit risk, and provide liquidity to our investors. Feel free to send us an email to review alternate options.

When is my investment "Effective"?

Accepted Answer

Your investment becomes effective on the first business day of the following month. Why? Our focus is on creating consistent returns for our investors. For example, if an investor were to invest a much larger sum of capital than others in the fund at some point, they would capitalize on much of the gains otherwise rewarded to current shareholders for the current quarter. With this in mind, our long term perspective is that investors will see their greatest returns over a 5+ year holding period.

How do I withdraw my investment?

Not a good fit, or (ideally) using your investment for its intended purpose? Just send us an email, and we will initiate a liquidation of your assets on the 1st business day of the following month.
